Year 6 to 7 Transition

Dear Parents/Carers

On behalf of all the staff at The Trinity School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child as you join The Trinity community. The induction process is about us sharing our hopes, values and expectations for your child’s future as a Trinitarian and ensuring the move to secondary school is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Effective communication is essential if we are to work together to maximise the opportunities that an education at The Trinity School can bring. We believe that Trinitarians are the graduates, leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. We will support them on this journey, working alongside you to ensure our unashamedly ambitious aspirations for them are met.

Inevitably, starting a new school involves sharing information. You will have been emailed a link to a website asking you to complete the online admissions form that the school will need before your child joins us in September. In addition, it includes the information that you will need to be familiar with to make your child’s transition as smooth as possible. Below you will find the documents that are shared with you on the admissions website, as well as a link to the policies section of the school website where you will find the policies shared with you on the admissions website.

When your child joins The Trinity School, they will find an environment that develops their academic and practical skills; they will also join a community where a culture of personal responsibility, ambition and co-curricular participation is embedded. The staff of The Trinity School are deeply committed to providing the support and challenge to develop your child to their full potential.

We can achieve these aims only with your co-operation. The most important thing that you can give us is your support.
